Emily Young is a female Tau'ri, she was wife of Everett Young for two years and divorced in 2009.

2009[]
At the time of their marriage, she grew frustrated with Everett's time away from her during his assignments. She became aware of Young's extramarital affair with Lt. Tamara Johansen. Sometime after they are stranded on Destiny, Young used the Long-range communication device to visit her, even though he occupied David Telford's body. She found the news hard to take, and admitted she didn't want to wait for him if he returned to Earth, but wished him well. (SGU: "Air, Part 1", "Darkness")
However, weeks later, Everett didn't want to accept that and went back to her. After he talked to her for a while, she learned to forgive her husband. That night, the two made love, but due to interference with the Long-range communication device relating to the ship's FTL, Young and Telford accidentally switched to their own bodies momentarily during the act. Sometime after Young left again, the real Telford paid her a visit, but it is unknown what Telford's intentions were. (SGU: "Earth")
A few months later, she asked for a divorce from Everett. (SGU: "Trial and Error")
2010[]
When the Destiny expedition was going into stasis pods for what could be at least three years, Everett elected not to visit Emily, citing that they were "done". (SGU: "Gauntlet")
